Life smells
The interesting thing about using a CPAP machine when you travel, is that you end up smelling the place you were sleeping in before you got to where you are now. This is because the air filter inside the machine traps odors and it takes a couple days for these to change after you arrive in the new place. It's interesting how fast you adapt to smell. Everyplace smells, it's just not obvious after you've been there for a few minutes.
It's always great to go to sleep on the road, since the machine smells like an air freshener due to the plug in in the master bath. The down side, of course is coming home. The machine smells like the hotel room, and that can take some getting used to when trying to fall asleep. The worst smell is from Indiana. The house has that musty stale odor to it which seems to take forever to get out of the machine. Time to hit the sack and smell- Appleton, WI.
